"Sculptor Patrick Morelli has captured the pure essence of the great civil
rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. in this ten-foot, bronze statue,
entitled "Behold", dedicated in his memory, and located at the King National
Historic Site in Atlanta, Georgia, overlooking the tomb of Dr. King. "Behold"
had once been on display at the World Trade Center, Tower 2, upper level and
proposed as a permanent addition to the World Trade Center's art collection.
However it was since decided that the statue would be more appropriate and
historically significant placed at the King National Historic Site. Because of
this fateful decision the statue has survived the World Trade Center disaster
which is a great miracle and blessing in itself!"
