For those of you who have not visited Shanksville, Pennsylvania we are posting these photos. They are only a few of those we have taken when we visited this beautiful American countryside.  We post them in memory of all those lost and their families, and especially for our hometown hero, Linda Gronlund who was raised in Sag Harbor, New York.  (photos of the dedication of a National Park in her honor to follow)

I would like to take a moment to thank the ambassadors of Flight 93. Their patience and love is overwhelming. When you visit the site they are there telling the story to groups of visitors all day long. I was impressed with their sense of duty but even more so with the love that emanates through them as they patiently explain to each and every visitor, what happened there on September the 11th, 2001 and answer all kinds of questions.

THANK YOU, AMBASSADORS, FOR THE LOVE AND PATIENCE YOU GIVE TO EACH AND EVERY VISITOR, THE FAMILIES AND THOSE LOST. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU, THE FAMILIES, NOR THOSE WHO BRAVELY GAVE THEIR LIVES ON 9-11 WHEN WE WERE VICIOUSLY ATTACKED. GOD BLESS AMERICA!  GOD BLESS OUR HEROES & TROOPS!

Heart moving. This 2 year old boy from Arizona adds his bear to the collection of heartfelt mementos left by daily visitors to the site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  America Mourns it's lost, but not forgotten!
