Sherman Oaks Fire & Rescue, Station 88 is getting ready to set it's Steel Beam and Section from the Pentagon inside this eternal circle of remembrance for those who lost their lives on 911.

This Sherman Oaks Rescue Team was the first to receive orders, although their Battalion Chief Thomas M Bourne, Special Operations, Bureau of Emergency Services after learning about the attacks was already making preparation for the long trip by air to NY with pallets of equipment to help us at Ground Zero. There are no words to thank them and all those who responded in NY's Hours of Need!

We would also like to thank Joe Lanza, 9/11 memorial coordinator  for LAFD, Fire Station 88 and owner of LANZA CONSTRUCTION, Sherman Oaks, CA. who is the brother of Patrick Lanza from NY's Office of Emergency Services for constructing this memorial and Carrie Konjoyan managing all aspects.
